Hey All, This was awhile ago so I will add a few things along the way in a different color.
Jillian and I have had a busy past couple of weeks as per usual. but here is a quick over view of some highlights.
Some very big highlights.
Jillian is been training with her Sister Natalie, so when Natalie takes maternity leave Jillian will help cover her position. I think this works out for the both of them Jillian gets to shine in front of the boss's and Natalie gets to rest knowing her position is being covered by some one who is very qualified and someone she trusts.
Jillian's Sister Natalie is Due Tomorrow Friday the 16th. It is all very very exciting. Jillian is very prepared and excited for her double position at work.
Jillian has also been having quite a few adventures, she has traveled down to Arizona to visit a friend of hers Caitlin and Jillian tells me that she had a great time and was very grateful for getting that as a Christmas present. Last week Jillian had a girls night out to see Chicago(which she loved).
Apparently Caitlin has been doing very well At her job in Phoenix, AZ. So big ups to her.
She also went to the movies with Savanna, I think they saw Percy Jackson (basically a Harry Potter rip off) they had fun though.
Jillian and I have seen Savanna since then and went to the movies and saw "how to Train your Dragon". It was a great movie with Great animation with a great story. It is always a good time hanging out with Savanna
Jillian and her friends are starting a book club.
Jillian and her friends starting a book club and have read a tv host's book Chelsea Handler. Jillian said it was funny.
I have been working and then TAing 2 nights a week. Still illustrating that book, skating as much as I can. I was playing American football with some of Jillian's co-workers. It was a great time but it really broke up my Saturday. So I could not continue on to the next season. Maybe later in the year.
both of us together; We celebrated a good friend of ours Charlies 30th birthday 2 weekends ago. It was a very fun night. I had no voice which I think made it more fun for everyone else.
We have also celebrated our friend Hilary's B'day. Jillian's B'day was a week long event with shopping spree's, present and a big night out at Jillian's favourite bar. Jillian and all of our friends had a great night.
Jillian and I went to our second meeting of adoption which was great. This meeting went well and was very informative on both sides. Since this was a pre-application meeting Jillian and I have decided to hold off on putting the application in until we are in the new house. But Jillian and I both walked away from the meeting smiling with excitement.
Jillian and I are holding off of taking the next step of adoption until we are in the next house.
So with the new house coming Jillian and I have been preparing our condo for rent. We were going to sell it, but because of the state of the economy; our condo is not worth selling yet. So we will hold on to it and keep it as an investment.
There has been a lot of stress with the house and has been a fair few weeks and the whole thing was almost gone. But with great work of Jillian's brother Kevin it is back on track. We will know more in the next few days. I will keep this posted.
So over the last couple of weeks we have been making some minor adjustments to the condo eg: adding closet doors, changing some lighting fixtures and adding current heating dials.
Also some friends of ours Nick and Laura got engaged on the weekend. We are very excited for them and should be celebrating with them over the upcoming weekend.
