Four of my Seattle friend have a time honored tradition of a thing called "MANCATION".
mancation: a vacation that only involves men. usually good friends.

This year I was offered to join this time honored tradition. We went camping at these lakes named "Ancient lakes". which is a 3 hour drive from our houses and an hour hike from the car.
We sort of hit the jack pot, as we walked to the camping area there was a lot of people around.
We were all sort of bummed as we thought all the good spots were gone. But as we looked across the lake we seen a waterfall and what seemed to be a flat spot enough for 2 tents. We hiked across some treacherous terrain to get there but it was worth it. No-one around, a waterfall right next to us, the lake at our feet and to cap it all off we had a 3 level jumping rock into the lake 2 minutes away from us(due to the rocks you had to climb to get there). we thought it was hilarious to do a man jump off one of the levels into the lake. Luckily there was people hiking around for us to get a great shot.
That night we had a beautiful dinner cooked by Trevor. We all built a fire pit out of rocks and made a fire that lasted all night. Something we were proud of.
In the morning I was the first to wake and and got to walk around the lake to get some great photo's(the one with me in a striped beanie). Once everyone else woke we had breakfast, jumped off the rocks a few more times and packed up and hiked out.
The hike out was not nearly as enjoyable as the one in. But it was worth it.
On the drive home we got to stop in a mum and pop's store and get the greatest milkshake ever.
Other than some great conversation on the drive home that is about it.
I am looking forward to next time.
